2026 SHRM Georgia DC Fly-In

Join us on SHRM Georgia's 2026 DC-Fly In furthering 'Policy not Politics.'  Engage with Georgia's elected officials and their staff on matters important to Georgia workplaces!

 
A typical meeting contains the following elements:

• Introduction of Delegates
• Discussion of bills on which we’re asking support (these will be provided by SHRM close to the time of the visit), along with an ask to support the bill
• Discussion of stories from your perspective of how passage of the bill will impact Georgia workplaces
• Closing remarks and offer of delegates as continued resources; leave behind materials and business cards. 

Hotel and flight expenses are on your own; ask if your employer will support this very worthwhile activity!  You are not required to stay at the designated hotels; we will plan to meet there for various functions and logistics as noted above.   Please book departing flights from D.C. no earlier than 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25th.  

Information about the SHRM pre-meeting Tuesday evening and details for Wednesday’s Hill visit will be coming soon! Along with our recommended hotels although you are welcome to stay at a hotel of your choice.

Any SHRM member in the state of Georgia is welcome and encouraged to attend! There is no limit on how many people can join us on this important trip. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit Capitol Hill, this is a great opportunity!
