Eldercare became very personal for me when my mom got sick. Everything felt reactive. Hospital visits, tough family conversations, constant stress. No plan, nobody to take charge and help. The precious little time she had left was spent with strangers on the phone, struggling to answer medical and financial questions before she passed. It was devastating. When the time came for me to care for my dad, I did things differently. I put in months of research to build a road map. I knew what mattered. And instead of chaos, there was calm. My dad was able to spend his final months with us in peace and dignity. Most families get stuck: too many care options, no one clearly in charge, big questions like, "How can I get my parents to stop driving? Do my parents have enough money? And, is it okay for my parents to stay in their home?" That uncertainty is exhausting and it puts an unfair burden on you. But it doesn't have to be like this. Don't wait until it's too late and you're facing an eldercare emergency by yourself. Let’s figure this out together.
